The cosy and family-run hotel is located on the Sognefjord sea front and offers beautiful surroundings with a fantastic view of the Fjord.

Due to it’s location on the coastal highway E39 it’s easy to reach from Bergen by bus or car within approx. 2 hours.

But even more exiting then traveling by road is the two-hour trip with the expressboat from the centre of Bergen to Lavik. This trip takes you through narrow waters among beautiful islands and skerries into the Sognefjord all the way to Lavik’s ferry quay where the hotel is located.

to Flåm and the picturesque Flåm-railway.
to Balestrand, the Fjærland Fjord, the Jostedal Glacier and the Norwegian Glacier museum.
to Nærøyfjorden, an arm of the Sognefjord and world’s narrowest fjord.

Near the hotel are marked hiking trails with a good acces to the mountain terrain.
